My dilemma

What, you may ask, is my dilemma? Well, it’s pretty simple actually. How can I make more of a difference?

I have a great career with MTS right now. My work is interesting, I get to play with new toys, I work with great people, and the pay is great. When I worked in computer sales, though, I got to interact with lots of new people every day. Although it terrified me at first when I started at Compucentre 13 years ago, I find I’m missing that now. Furthermore, I don’t really go home at the end of the day and feel like I really made a contribution to society or a difference in people’s lives.

Okay, thinking how that sounds, let me make this clear. I’m not looking for a career change! Happy What I am thinking about is a way to supplement it through some sort of extra-curricular activity. I guess that is why people volunteer. Well, this brings me to my dilemma...

What do I do?

There are countless possibilities, and that’s part of the problem. I hope you stay with me on this journey as I try to answer the question.
